Successful on site machining trial complete of a new, compact, low height drilling machine and method for drilling out seized studs with mating flange in place for a well known Power Generation company. This new method means that the customer does not have to dismantle the equipment or build an expensive supporting structure, saving them valuable time and money. The novel drilling machine has only a 35mm radius from the centreline of the spindle to the body and is only 110mm high allowing the machine to operate in very restricted spaces.
